This device is used to determine the forces necessary for plunger actuation on hypodermic syringe cartridges and includes a holder for the cartridge, together with a compression die which is selected according to the sample. This test arrangement is designed for compression tests up to 200 N; for tests on glass cartridges, use of a protective screen is recommended.
