Laboratory Creasing

A materials testing machine can be used for the determination of creasing parameters according to DIN 55437.  

In a laboratory test a specimen can be creased with freely adjustable values for: Width of the creasing tool, width of the nut, nut depth and creasing stroke. Because of the high creasing speed and the excellent positioning accuracy, as compared to manual creasing presses, creasing can be determined very precisely. For fast and easy determination of best fitting creasing parameters, creasing channel and knife blade are changeable.
